About Isabella

Born Elizabeth Maria Lorie to hard-working immigrant parents of Cuban and Puerto Rican descent, it was clear early on that Isabella Valentina was highly gifted in aesthetic pursuits -- her innate need to create something of artistic beauty was evident in the areas of design and dance.

Not long after Isabella Valentina was first able to pick up a crayon she began sketching beautiful designs for women. A strong-minded little girl, Isabella insisted that her mother sew her costumes, and eventually, teach Isabella to sew. Throughout her childhood, Isabella would often hand-stitch little clothes for her Barbies TM and teddy bears. To hone her skills, Isabella also took sewing classes, and throughout her education, Isabella often wore her own creations to school dances and events -- and even designed uniforms for her cheerleading teams (for which she also choreographed nationally-award-winning routines).

Isabella went on to graduate from law school, but she quickly realized that practicing law was not where her heart was, and decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the arts. For years Isabella had been designing her own bikinis, and, while on a trip to Las Vegas (where she experienced overwhelming requests for her bikinis) decided to form her own company and offer her beautiful designs to the World....

RUNWAY:

Since it's inception in the spring of 2007, Isabella Valentina TM has taken Hollywood by storm. In just three short months, Isabella Valentina TM created a thirty piece line of the most Glamorous bikinis ever seen on the runway!

Isabella Valentina TM was immediately requested for fashion shows all over Hollywood and showed at some of the largest, most exclusive venues in town, and celebrities began flocking to the shows to see what all the excitement was about. To date, Isabella Valentina TM has shown at the most fabulous nightclubs in Hollywood including Ritual, Social, The Highlands, and Cabana Club to name a few. And indeed, Vegas has now come calling!

Our highest honor to date...EIGHT of Isabella Valentina's TM pieces were selected for the famed MAGIC runway shows at the MAGIC fashion buying event in La's Vegas in August, 2007. The models in the show gushed about how much they loved the gasps, photos, and attention they got while walking one of Isabella Valentina's TM fabulous pieces, and indeed, Isabella's bathing suits were the grand finale of the 100 piece MAGIC SWIM show, which ran twice daily during all four days of MAGIC!

Upcoming runway shows in La's Vegas will be at Planet Hollywood, Ceasars Palace, and Tao Beach at the Venetian.

Isabella Valentina exploded onto the Hollywood scene in late June, 2007 when she took to the Red Carpet at the Help Find Madeleine McCann Benefit at Play nightclub in Hollywood. Known for her glittering bikinis which double as fabulous night-time outerwear, Isabella was first photographed at the benefit wearing her client favorite, "Show Stopper" - a nude-colored bikini completely hand-encrusted with over 3,500 First-Quality Swarovski (R) crystals. Mesmerized by the fire and glamor of her sparkling crystal bikini top, the press nearly blinded Isabella with their flash bulbs and published 8 photographs of Isabella Valentina on the Red Carpet -- the most photos of any celebrity at the event, second only to Kimberly Caldwell of American Idol fame -- on Wire Image - the World's largest online celebrity photograph archive.

On July 19th, 2007, Isabella Valentina hosted her first runway show at the brand new Ritual nightclub in Hollywood. With the help of her publicist, Jane Owen and her team at Practically Perfect PR, and Andrew Beaty and Nick Ryan of Prodigy Promotions, the show was a smashing success! Many of Hollywood's celebrities turned out to see the launch of Isabella Valentina TM ...The World's Most Glamorous Luxury Sunwear. Following the first runway show, Isabella Valentina TM was immediately asked to do more shows in Hollywood, and teamed up with designers The Secession and NVE Clothing for a star-studded show at Cabana Club where Isabella was interviewed by Matthew Schellhas of CelebrityInterview.TV; and then later with Toxic Waste Clothing for a fabulous runway show sponsored by talent manager and producer, Michael Thomas at Social nightclub. Online media outlet giant, WhatUNeed Productions, with its host, EZ was on hand as well to interview Isabella and other celebrities at Social and has had tremendous exposure online on WhatUNeed TV's YouTube Channel.

Isabella Valentina TM then had an exclusive show at the famed Highlands nightclub in Hollywood at the official after-party for the Hot Import Nights show, where many celebrities and professional athletes were in attendance.

In late August, 2007, Isabella Valentina TM hosted at booth at the world-famous MAGIC fashion show and buying event in Las Vegas. Eight of Isabella's fabulous designs took to the runway at MAGIC twice a day for four days -- an unprecedented number of pieces for any one designer. In the mean time, Isabella Valentina was invited to the Playboy Mansion to attend Denise Richards' celebrity charity event for the Nichole Brown Foundation, where Isabella Valentina and her models wore fabulous Isabella Valentina TM bikinis. Immediately, photographers, TV shows covering the event, and guests, flocked to the Isabella Valentina TM girls to take pictures and interview them! Indeed, Denise Richards herself beelined from her private cabana to ask if Isabella Valentina would make her a bikini! Small - Fits sizes 2-4 with cup size of A/B

Returns and Exchanges

Like similar intimate apparel items, and due to California health codes, we are not able to accept returns of swimwear. Because of this, we will, at your request, send you an un-lined, unembellished try-on suit for fitting purposes (for a nominal charge of $25). If you are happy with the fit, simply place your order for the fully-embellished version of your dream sunwear piece.

Caring for Your Isabella Valentina TM

Yes! You CAN wear your Isabella Valentina TM in the water! However, as with all luxury items, we recommend that you use care in wearing, handling, laundering your new Isabella Valentina TM. In handling this piece, it is best to avoid engaging in activities which might damage or dislodge the crystals. Do not expose your Isabella Valentina TM to intense heat, extended periods in water. With respect to laundering, gently hand-wash your Isabella Valentina TM in warm water with mild detergent (do not allow it to soak for more than three or four hours), rinse, and then remove excess water by placing between clean, dry towels and gently pressing the water out of the fabric (do not attempt to remove water by wringing the fabric as this may cause the crystals to dislodge). Once most of the water has been removed, lay flat to dry.

When you receive your Isabella Valentina TM, you'll immediately notice that it is much heavier than your standard bikini or one-piece bathing suit. This is due to the weight of the Swarovski® crystals and charm pendants adorning the suit. To maximize the life of the tie-strings and straps of Isabella Valentina TM, and the luster of the Swarovski® crystals, we recommend that you store your Isabella Valentina TM in a cool, dry place - on a shelf, in a drawer, or a protective box. It is best not to hang your Isabella Valentina TM, as the weight of the crystals may cause the tie-strings to become stretched-out over time.

Repairing Your Isabella Valentina TM In the event that you damage, dislodge, or lose crystals on your bikini, please call us or visit us online at www.isabellavalentina.com where you may purchase a repair kit with replacement crystals for your bikini.
